We are a team of finance professionals with many years of experience in finance and accounting. We are not investment advisors but we are qualified accountants and we hold several professional qualifications.
Our passion is personal finance, we have studied and learnt a lot about personal finance topics, we have applied successfully in our lives what we have learnt through a number of principles and we would like to help you better understand your personal finances and be in a better position to make financial decisions.

Who is "FILIP"
FILIP is a Financially Literate Person who makes informed financial decisions.
Financial literacy is to have the ability and knowledge to make informed financial
decisions.
Everyday we make financial decisions and form financial habits which have a significant impact to our lives, our future and the lives of other people. Most of the times we do not realise the impact of these financial decisions and habits. Many times we lack the necessary knowledge or information in order to make the financial decision which is the most beneficial to us. Other times we do not invest the necessary time to research and explore all available options before we make a financial decision.
Having both the ability and knowledge to make informed financial decisions is extremely important not only for our current and future financial positions but also for our health, wellbeing and our societies everywhere around the world.
Our name & logo
FILIP is the acronym for a Financially Literate Person.
Our logo is the Trojan horse, a symbol of a smart strategic move that Greeks made to win the Trojan war and conquer Troy. It symbolises being financially smart and making informed financial decisions.
FILIP also comes from the Greek name FILIPPOS which means the one who loves the horses. The most known ancient Greek by this name was FILIPPOS the 2nd, the father of Alexander the Great. FILIPPOS the 2nd was a very distinct politician and strategist, very calm and patient in his dealings and known for his great decision making.
